A police officer who was arrested in Rosario town in Batangas province for allegedly firing his gun is now facing criminal and administrative charges for violation of indiscriminate firing.
Authorities identified the erring cop as S/Sgt. Ronald Pamis, who is assigned with the Philippine National Police Health Service at Camp Crame.
Reports disclosed that the police officer was arrested Barangay Bulihan at around 8:30 p.m. following complaints from a concern citizen about a man who was firing his handgun.
As response to the report , Police responded at the area where they caught the suspect with his firearms.
To recall, Philippine National Police chief Police General Rodolfo Azurin earlier warned policemen before Christmas celebrations that those who will be caught indiscriminately firing their firearms will face the full force of the law.
