Popular Twitch live streamer Félix "xQc" Lengyel lost more than half a million in the World Cup finals last week following Argentina's masterful victory over France.

xQc, who has 11.4 million followers on the world's most visited live streaming platform, became popular for his Overwatch streams.

A serial gambler who also streams online gambling, xQc initially thought that a bet on France would be the easiest win of his life.

"I have been saying that France is going to win it all since the first game. Putting my money where my mouth is. Easiest win of my life. My Paypal is about to snap on these noobs. Ez ez ez ez ez," xQc wrote in a tweet.

xQc'q $500,000 bet was supposed to get him $1.4 million in return but he quickly realized that he was playing against the odds when Argentina was up in the finals with a 2-nil score courtesy of Lionel Messi and Angel De Maria.

A demotivated xQc decided to withdraw his money from there and cashed out a meager $5,500 from his initial bet of half a million.

But when France scored an equalizer and went to the penalty shootout courtesy of Kylian Mbappe, the live streamer decided to bet another $100,000.

"I have cashed out $5500. I am done. That was tough, but it is what it is. Sh-t happens, I guess," xQc said during the live stream.

The notorious gambler then mentioned that he was down $650,000 and as his followers mentioned he only lost $600,000. xQc later on revealed that he also lost another $50,000 on the other bets he made on that fateful day.

"Good game all around. Fun to watch. -$650,000 I guess," xQc quipped.
