Sen. Bong Go, Chair of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, has once again stressed the need to improve access to affordable health services, particularly in rural areas.
On Tuesday, 20 December, Go sent his team to Angeles City, Pampanga to assist vulnerable residents. In his video message, Go reaffirmed his commitment to strengthen the country's healthcare sector.
"Let us continue investing in our healthcare.
Go's team assisted 150 struggling Kapampangans at the Brgy. Sta, Trinidad covered court where they gave away masks and snacks. They also provided cellular phones, shoes, and balls for basketball to select individuals.
Meanwhile, representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development provided separate financial assistance.
Go visited the city of San Fernando on 24 November, where he personally inspected the construction of the city's Super Health Center. He also visited the town of Minalin where he personally assisted hundreds of struggling college students.
