Sneakerheads, unite! Foot Locker, the iconic street footwear retailer, has finally reached Philippine shores.

A section of Glorietta 3 in Makati City was recently renovated to host a cluster of high-street fashion retail brands, and that's where Foot Locker has made its first home in the country at Glorietta 3 in Makati City.

The spacious store offers 1,435 square meters of retail space. At the store opening, dancers cartwheeled and somersaulted to throwback hits from 2002 such as Missy Elliott's "Work it." There were also arcade games such as shooting hoops and claw machines for guests to enjoy.

The stars were, of course, the sneakers — every imaginable one of them from brands such as Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Converse, and many more. Baseball caps in all colors of the rainbow are also showcased cleverly in one section of the store.

"We are incredibly excited to bring our love of sneakers to the Philippines," said Natalie Ellis, general manager and vice president, Foot Locker Asia Pacific. "The opening of our first Power Store marks an important milestone as we continue to create unrivaled experiences for our customers across the globe."
