Sen. Bong Go was hailed for his outstanding and significant achievement in public service during the Golden Globe Annual Awards for Business Excellence and Outstanding Filipino Achievers at the Manila Hotel on Friday, 16 December.

"Kami po'y mga probinsyano lamang na mga taga-Davao, taga-Mindanao, na binigyan ng Panginoon at ninyo ng pagkakataon na makapagserbisyo po sa inyo. Hindi po kayo ang dapat magpasalamat sa amin. Kami po ang dapat magpasalamat sa inyo dahil binigyan n'yo po kami ng pagkakataon na magkapagserbisyo po sa inyong lahat. Hindi ko po ito sasayangin ang pagkakataong ibinigay ninyo sa akin, sa tiwalang ibinigay ninyo sa akin," remarked Go in his speech.

"Your faith in my abilities has pushed me to be the best version of myself. I am truly grateful for this award. However, with or without it, we continue to work and serve our people. Importante po, patuloy kaming magtatrabaho, mabigyan man ng parangal o hindi," he reassured.

Established in 2005, Golden Globe Annual Awards for Business Excellence and Filipino Achiever is a prestigious award-giving body that grants awards to different personalities, politicians, entertainers and individuals that play an important part in the society.

Meanwhile, the senator likewise recognized the contributions and efforts of his fellow awardees, underscoring how their unwavering dedication and commitment to serve the people has significantly uplifted the lives of many Filipinos.

"I would also like to extend my congratulations to my fellow awardees. Sa lahat po ng mga awardees na nandirito, congratulations po sa inyong lahat. Palakpakan natin ang ating mga awardees. It is an honor to be recognized alongside such dedicated and hardworking individuals," Go expressed.
