Sen. Bong Go personally attended the 4th Quarter 2022 Regular Meeting of the Vice Mayors' League of the Philippines National Executive Board at the Manila Hotel on Wednesday, 7 December.

In his speech, Go urged his fellow public servants to continue providing excellent leadership to their respective communities, advocate initiatives that are aimed at improving their localities, and support the passage of ordinances or resolutions promoting good governance.

"Kung trabaho lang po ang pag-uusapan, sanay po ako sa trabaho, 24 years po akong nagtrabaho kasama si dating pangulong Duterte. Nakapagtrabaho rin po ako sa kanyang opisina nung vice mayor sya noong 2010 hanggang 2013," Go said.

"Ipagpatuloy lang natin ang bayanihan, protektahan natin ang kapakanan ng bawat Pilipino," he appealed.

The lawmaker then reaffirmed that he will continue advocating for measures that will strengthen and elevate the welfare of Filipinos. He then urged all vice mayors to continue their collective efforts to solve policy gaps and provide equitable public services throughout the country.

"Bukas po ang aking opisina para sa inyong lahat sa abot ng aking makakaya… in my own capacity as your senator, hindi po ako titigil na tumulong po sa inyo kung ano po ang makakatulong sa inyong lugar," reassured Go.

"Ang mashe-share ko lang po sa inyo at natutunan ko po kay (dating) pangulong Duterte… alam kong alam n'yo rin po ito. Mahalin n'yo po ang inyong kapwa Pilipino, mahalin n'yo po ang inyong pagseserbisyo, hinding-hindi po kayo magkakamali," he expressed.
