Sen. Bong Go continues to support vulnerable communities nationwide as he sent his team to provide assistance to disadvantaged residents in San Felipe, Zambales on Monday, 5 December.
In his video message, Go encouraged those eligible to get vaccinated against COVID-19, citing that being inoculated not only better protects them from the virus but also significantly helps in the country's return to normalcy.
'Wag mawawalan ng pag-asa, makakabangon tayo muli," he reassured.
Held at the Barangay Maloma covered court, Go's team handed out masks and snacks to 709 residents. They likewise gave away cellular phones, shoes, watches, and balls for basketball and volleyball to select beneficiaries.
Meanwhile, the Department of Social Welfare and Development provided financial assistance to support the residents' daily needs.
