Sen. Bong Go dispatched a team to Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte, on 22 to 24 November to assist more Filipinos in crisis situations.
"Kami po, bilang inyong mga lingkod bayan, palagi po namin hangarin ay kung ano man po ang makakabuti para sa ating mga kababayan. Kaya naman ako po ay ipagpapatuloy ko lang po ang serbisyong para sa inyo," reassured Go in his video message during the relief operations.
The office of Go distributed aid to 3,333 indigents at the Sultan Kudarat Municipal gymnasium. Among the assistance provided were vitamins, masks and snacks. Meanwhile, bicycles, cellular phones, shoes, and balls for basketball and volleyball were given to select recipients.
Furthermore, the Department of Social Welfare and Development provided livelihood grants that can potentially help beneficiaries to kick start their own small businesses that can sustain their daily needs.
