NorthPort overcomes slump, whips NLEX

NorthPort finally broke out of its slump, beating NLEX, 107-94, in the PBA Commissioner's Cup on 9 November at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Batang Pier played with a sense of urgency in a make-or-break situation.

It improved its standing to 4-5, while the Road Warriors slid to 10th spot at 3-5.

Robert Bolick presided over NorthPort's offense, finishing with 33 points, 19 of which were in the second half.

Prince Ibeh added 22 points and 17 boards on top of six block shots for Northport, whose veteran forward Arwind Santos did not play.
