Sen. Bong Go stressed the need to provide better and intensified government interventions to protect the welfare of Filipinos as the country's economy recovers from the pandemic.
On Wednesday, 12 October, the senator's team mounted a relief effort in Hermosa, Bataan where they provided snacks, shirts and masks to 187 indigent residents at the municipal covered court.
They also gave away shoes, cellular phones, and balls for basketball to select individuals.
As part of the government's efforts to mitigate the impact of the pandemic, the Department of Social Welfare and Development likewise extended financial assistance to the residents.
