A privilege," John Prats said on social media of the chance to have directed K-pop artist Jessi's first concert on 30 September at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Memorable, too, he added to his post, since it marked his debut to helm a show with a Korean performer.
Jessi is the first female K-Pop soloist to draw over 100 million views on YouTube.
Prats, a long-time actor/dancer/host who has successfully transitioned as a concert director since 2018, showed media members exclusive snapshots from Jessi's rehearsals and concert as well.
Jessi replied to Prats' post: "Thank you so much. Unforgettable."
To which Prats responded: "This is special, J."
The concert's success likewise spilled online as friends and colleagues congratulated Prats.
A milestone it was for the multifaceted artist, who started out as a child actor and whose latest achievements included directing episodes on FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, where he had also been in the cast as Jerome Girona.
Prats recently marked his 30th year in showbiz.
