Authorities seized an estimated P238,000.00 worth of shabu and guns from three suspected drug personalities after being caught in a buy bust operation in Caloocan City, Sunday night.
Northern Police District – District Drug Enforcement Unit (NPD-DDEU), chief PLt Col. Renato Castillo, identified the suspects as Raymond Arcilla, 31, listed drug personality; Glenn Dupang, 33; and Ramil Montes, 53, all residents of 3rd Avenue, Brgy. 118.
It was around 9:30 in the evening, when the DDEU, led by PSMs. Michael Tagubilin, conducted a buy bust operation in front of house No. 197 BMBA, 3rd Avenue, Brgy. 118, where an undercover policeman was able to transact P7,500.00 worth of shabu with the suspects.
After accepting the marked money from the police who served as poseur-buyer in exchange for a medium plastic sachet of shabu, the operatives immediately grabbed them.
Confiscated from the suspects were approximately 36 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P238,000.00, buy bust money which was an authentic P500.00 bill and 7 pieces of P1,000.00 boodle money and a .38 caliber revolver with two bullets.
The suspects are now facing charges of violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs act of 2002 and RA 10591.
