Sen. Bong Go extended aid to struggling sectors in Baybay City and Tolosa, Leyte on Friday, 23 September.

Go reassured Filipinos that he remains committed to continue supporting more programs and initiatives geared toward attaining former president Rodrigo Duterte's goal of providing a more comfortable life for all Filipinos.

"Walang humpay ang ating paglilingkod. Asahan niyo po na ipagpapatuloy ko, sa abot ng aking makakaya, kung anuman ang mga magagandang nasimulan ni dating pangulong Duterte para tuluy-tuloy ang ating pag-unlad bilang nagkakaisang Pilipino," reaffirmed Go in a video message.

"Tiwala rin naman po ako na sa pangunguna ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. ay ipagpapatuloy niya palakasin at dagdagan pa ang mga programang nakatutok sa pagbibigay ng magandang bukas para sa ating mga kababayan," he expressed.

Go's staff distributed snacks and masks to 467 residents at the respective gymnasiums of Baybay City and Tolosa. Meanwhile, shoes, bicycles, cellular phones, and balls for basketball and volleyball were given to select individuals.

In a separate distribution, the Department of Social Welfare and Development assessed the needs of residents and provided necessary livelihood assistance grants through its Sustainable Livelihood Program.
