First look at ‘Enola Holmes 2’

The game is afoot.

Detective-for-hire Enola Holmes and her famed brother Sherlock will be back for more sleuthing as Netflix announces the premiere date of the mystery film's anticipated sequel.

Enola Holmes 2, scheduled for a 4 November release, follows Millie Bobby Brown as Enola Holmes who opens her own agency shortly after the success of her first case.

Faced with the harsh reality of being a female detective, Enola is about to close shop when a penniless lad seeks help in finding his missing sister.

The case proves harder than expected. Enola has to deal with London's sinister factories to the highest echelons of society down to 221B Baker Street, the official address of Sherlock (Henry Cavill).

Enola Holmes 2, based upon the novels by Nancy Springer, is directed by Harry Bradbeer, with screenplay by Jack Thorne and story by Harry Bradbeer with Thorne. It also stars David Thewlis, Louis Partridge, Susan Wokoma, Adeel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, and Helena Bonham Carter.
