A pistol-toting "toughie" tucked his tail between his legs when he was confronted and arrested in Tondo, Manila by a team of cops Saturday.
Alover Garzola was detained at the Manila Police District police station 2 for creating trouble.
The Tondo resident was slapped with charges of violating Republic Act 10591 for illegal possession of firearms, and RA 844 for breach of the peace at the Manila Prosecutor's Office.
Case investigator P/Cpl. Richard Panaga said Garzola was armed with a 9mm pistol with six live ammunition when collared by cops who responded to complaints filed by residents.
Garzola was seen roaming the Sto. Niño and Moriones streets, challenging everyone to a fight, while the gun was tucked at his waistband.
A concerned citizen went to the MPD Asuncion police community precinct to report Garzola before he could shoot anyone.
While he was all sound and fury along Moriones Street, Garzola, according to witnesses, suddenly became tame when he saw the fully armed policemen.
"Mabait naman pala (he's kind as it turns out)," a resident said with a laugh seeing Garzola in handcuffs.
