The revamped rookie-filled roster of ONIC PH is starting to prove as the team to beat this season following an impressive win over Omega Esports in the MPL Season 10 on Saturday evening.

Composed of Nets, SUPER FRINCE, Sensui, Rapidoot, and Der, ONIC PH scored a sensational 2-1 victory over Kelra, Ch4knu, Raizen, Renzio, and E2MAX to claim the top spot of the regular season with a 5-1 standing and 13 points.

"It was not easy [beating Omega] but when we are playing [against top teams] it motivates us more to play better and come up with flawless plays," ONIC jungler Sensui said after the match.

"We are not intimated because we are all just playing the same game. We will execute our play and not care about theirs."

Earlier in the day, defending MPL Season 9 and MSC 2022 champion RSG PH scored its second win of the season with a 2-1 win over Bren Esports. The reigning champs now sit at no.7 with a 2-2 standing and 5 points.

"We feel like the old RSG strategy from Season 9 and MSC does not work anymore. Now we need to adapt to the meta so the first few weeks were hard. We are still trying to find our way," RSG coach Panda admitted after the match.
