TARGETING a wider Philippine network, VinFast Southeast Asia chief executive Antonio ‘Toti’ Zara III speaks during the opening of the automaker’s Pasay dealership.
VinFast has opened its 36th dealership in the Philippines in Pasay City as the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer continues to expand its local sales and service network.
The new dealership, developed by Ravox Car Dealership Corporation, is located near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) transit gateway. It serves customers in southern Metro Manila who want to purchase a VinFast electric vehicle or obtain after-sales assistance.
The Pasay outlet follows VinFast’s 1S+ retail format, which allows customers to inspect its electric vehicles and access maintenance services at the same location.
Aside from vehicle sales, the dealership provides repair services, warranty assistance and general vehicle care. Genuine spare parts are also available to support customers who need replacement components or regular maintenance.
The addition of another service location is particularly relevant to electric vehicle owners who depend on authorized technicians and the availability of parts for repairs.
Antonio “Toti” Zara III, chief executive officer of VinFast Southeast Asia, said the Pasay dealership would give more customers access to the company’s vehicles and ownership services.
Zara said VinFast considers its dealerships an important connection with customers after they purchase a vehicle.
He added that the company intends to make electric vehicle ownership more accessible through its dealership network and customer support programs.
Ravox Car Dealership Corporation, a member of LT Prime Holdings, is VinFast’s partner in the Pasay development. The company has a background in technology retail and is applying its experience in consumer products to the automotive business.
Ravox president Jerome Uy said the dealership partnership would help customers understand the requirements of electric vehicle ownership, particularly the availability of charging facilities and after-sales support.
Uy also cited the importance of genuine replacement parts and warranty coverage, which customers would need throughout their vehicle’s service life.
The Pasay opening comes as VinFast prepares to establish additional dealerships in several parts of the country.
According to the company, new locations are planned in Baliwag, Bulacan, and Fairview and Quezon Avenue in Metro Manila.
VinFast also intends to expand into Cagayan de Oro, Camarines Sur, San Fernando and Iloilo in the coming months.
These planned outlets would extend the company’s network outside its existing Metro Manila locations and give customers in more provinces access to its vehicles and authorized service facilities.
