Green SM has launched Green Limo in Indonesia, a six-seat electric taxi service that uses the VinFast Limo Green, a model that is also available in the Philippines.

The new service gives Green SM a larger people mover for families, business travelers, and passengers carrying more luggage. It joins Green Car and Green Premium as the company’s third four-wheel service in Indonesia.

The Limo Green is already part of Green GSM’s Philippine operations, while VinFast also offers the electric MPV to local buyers. VinFast Philippines lists the Limo Green at P1.099 million with battery subscription and P1.399 million with the battery included.

Green SM’s Indonesian service uses the three-row Limo Green, which comes with automatic air-conditioning, separate air vents for the two rear rows, a multi-purpose phone charging cable, and an air filtration and deodorizing system.

The company began handing over the first batch of 500 Limo Green units to drivers in Jakarta on 19 September. The handover program runs until 29 September at the Green SM Kemayoran Depot.

Prospective drivers can also visit the site for vehicle test drives, consultations and applications for the company’s newly introduced rental program.

The program allows drivers to rent VinFast electric vehicles and operate them under Green SM.

Initial payments start at IDR 2 million, while daily rental rates begin at IDR 254,000. Available models include the Limo Green, VF e34 or Nerio Green, VF 5 or Herio Green and VF 6.

Green SM said eligible drivers may receive guaranteed daily earnings of up to IDR 400,000 during their first two months, subject to program conditions.

Revenue sharing can reach up to 92 percent.

The company is also offering driver incentives that include a monthly sign-up bonus of IDR 1 million, a brand bonus of IDR 676,000 per month, and an operating bonus of as much as IDR 1.34 million monthly.

Drivers under the program also receive free charging at V-Green charging stations.

Green SM Global chief executive Pham Nhat Minh Hoang said the new service gives passengers another option when more cabin room and comfort are needed.

He said the rental program was also designed to give drivers easier access to electric vehicles that can be used on the Green SM platform.

“Green Limo not only adds a new model to Green SM’s fleet, but also offers a suitable option for journeys where space and comfort are priorities. Alongside the Green Limo service, the new vehicle rental program with flexible options gives driver partners an easier way to earn stable income with modern, cost-efficient VinFast electric vehicles.” Pham Nhat Minh Hoang, Global CEO of Green SM, said.

Green Limo customers in Indonesia will receive a 20-percent discount on their first trip, with savings capped at IDR 50,000. The introductory offer runs from 19 September to 3 October.

Green SM operates an all-electric ride-hailing fleet. The company said its global operations have completed about 850 million rides and covered nearly six billion kilometers.

According to Green SM, those trips have helped cut more than 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

The Indonesian launch adds another market for the Limo Green within Green SM’s regional operations. In the Philippines, the same model is already being offered both as a passenger vehicle and as an option for drivers joining Green GSM’s electric transport platform.
