CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — Calamba City has been named among the Top 5 finalists in the 2026 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit Awards of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) under the Component City category.
The city presented its programs, initiatives and services during the final judging and deliberation held at the PCCI office in McKinley Hill, Taguig City.
Calamba highlighted measures aimed at making business transactions easier and faster while creating an environment that encourages investment, entrepreneurship and economic opportunities.
The city government said this marks the third consecutive year that Calamba has reached the Top 5 of the PCCI competition.
The recognition forms part of PCCI’s annual search for local governments that demonstrate programs and practices supporting a business-friendly environment and local economic development.
