  • Three hospitals under the Mount Grace Hospitals network were recognized at the 22nd Philippine Quill Awards 2026, receiving Awards of Merit for communication initiatives covering sustainability, community health, and health literacy.

Capitol Medical Center (CMC) in Quezon City received two awards for its CMC Signature Sound Project and Capitol C.A.R.E.S. “Basura Ko, Responsibilidad Ko.”

The Signature Sound Project was recognized in the Audio/Visual category for its use of a distinct sonic identity in hospital communications.

Meanwhile, Capitol C.A.R.E.S. received an Award of Merit under Sustainability Communication and Innovation for its waste management initiative, which promotes shared responsibility among the hospital community.

In La Union, Lorma Medical Center was recognized under Corporate Social Responsibility for “A Thousand Lives Touched: Strategic Communication Management in Community Health.”

The project focused on using communication to support community-based healthcare initiatives and reach people beyond the hospital setting.

ManilaMed also received an Award of Merit for “Reel to Heal: Advancing Health Literacy Through Physician-Led Digital Storytelling” under Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communication.

The initiative used physician-led digital content to present health information in a more accessible and engaging format.

The awards underscore the role of communication in healthcare, particularly in promoting health education, encouraging community participation, and supporting initiatives on sustainability and public health.
