Jasmine, the signature Chinese restaurant of New World Makati Hotel, has introduced a refreshed à la carte menu featuring Chinese classics, new chef-recommended dishes and locally sourced ingredients.
Curated by Master Chef Brandon Ng, also known as Chee Kin Ng, the menu combines traditional Chinese cooking techniques with contemporary presentation and flavors. The selection was developed around seasonal ingredients and modern Chinese dining trends.
The restaurant said it sources ingredients from various parts of the country, including fresh vegetables from the Cordillera region, Bicol chili peppers, salted fish from Negros and sustainably sourced seafood from Palawan.
Among the new offerings are Crispy Bean Curd with Salt and Pepper, Imperial Peking Duck served two ways, Seafood Lobster Dumpling, Golden Harbor Salmon and Asparagus Dumpling, and Assorted Mushroom and Truffle Dumpling.
Main-course additions include Chinese-Style Beef Tenderloin with Onion and Mandarin Sauce, Honey Orange Chicken, Chinese-Style Scrambled Egg with Scallop and Tomato, Fried French Beans with Minced Pork and Dried Shrimp, and Pork Belly and Liver Sausage Fried Rice with X.O. Sauce. Desserts include Chilled Milk Pudding with Salted Egg Ice Cream and Steamed Creamy Cheese Piggy Bun.
Jasmine also offers signature cocktails such as Jasmine Bloom and Xiang Máo Drop, along with a selection of wines and premium teas.
