  • Oracle has rolled out new agentic applications and digital agents for its cloud human resources platform to help companies manage employee development, internal mobility and workforce planning.

Built into Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management, the tools can assist with decisions and automate tasks using enterprise data, workflows, policies and approval structures.

“Too many organizations still rely on talent systems that wait for people to identify problems before taking action,” said Lewis Thompson, senior vice president of applications development at Oracle.

Thompson said the tools connect work, skills, learning and workforce planning to help companies respond to changing talent needs.

Among them is a Job Architect Agent that helps HR teams design and update roles, while an Intelligent Talent Profiles Agent identifies employee skills from workplace data to support internal mobility and workforce planning.

Oracle also introduced tools that generate training content, recommend learning opportunities and monitor training compliance.

For employees, Grow Coach identifies career development opportunities, while the Enterprise Tutor Agent recommends learning materials. Managers can also receive recommendations for employee coaching and development.

For workforce planning, Oracle’s agents can compare available employee skills against expected demand and identify potential internal talent pipelines.

“With this new operating model for talent agility, organizations can keep roles current, guide better development and mobility decisions, and respond to workforce change before it becomes a business challenge,” Thompson said.

Oracle said the agents can automate routine work and provide recommendations while keeping people in control of business-critical decisions.
