Oracle has introduced Oracle Base Database Cloud@Customer, a hybrid cloud service that enables organizations to run Oracle AI Database, applications and AI workloads from their own facilities while benefiting from Oracle-managed cloud operations.
The platform is designed for businesses that must keep data on-site because of regulatory, data residency or low-latency requirements. It offers automated database management, built-in high availability, disaster recovery and pay-as-you-go pricing to reduce operating costs.
Running on the new Oracle Data Infrastructure Cloud@Customer X11, the service supports Oracle AI Database 26ai and Oracle Database 19c while allowing customers to deploy AI applications and private AI agents alongside their databases.
