The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in partnership with Converge ICT Solutions Inc., officially launched the DTI AI and Scale-Up Center on 11 August, 2026, establishing a practical hub for technology adoption and business growth.
Located at the DTI Filinvest Building in Makati City, the Center serves as a hands-on resource where companies, startups, and local enterprises can learn how to integrate artificial intelligence and digital tools directly into their operations.
The launch marks the formal implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by both organizations in November 2025 to support local businesses through the Converge SME Solutions arm.
Transition from innovation to market-ready operations
Backed by the Tatak Pinoy Strategy, the Philippine Innovation Act, and the Innovative Startup Act, the facility is designed to help growing enterprises transition from early innovation to stable, market-ready operations.
The Center focuses on achievable technology integration where visitors and participating enterprises can gain access to live AI demonstration spaces, dedicated Accelerator Pods, pitching opportunities, and specialized training facilities.
Through expert-led workshops and guidance from private sector tech partners, businesses will learn how to apply AI to optimize daily workflows, and increase productivity.
