BACOOR CITY, Cavite -- Bacoor City has expanded its implementation of the KADIWA P20 Rice Program to provide local families with access to affordable rice amid rising living costs, Mayor Strike B. Revilla announced.

The local government is coordinating with national agencies and local partners to streamline distribution and reach qualified beneficiaries across the municipality.

Revilla said the initiative forms part of the city’s effort to prioritize food security and lighten the financial burden on residents.

"The true measure of leadership is how we make the lives of our fellow citizens easier. If we have the opportunity to deliver quality rice at an affordable price, we will not hesitate to do so," Revilla said. "Every resident of Bacoor deserves to live with dignity and hope."

According to Revilla, lowering staple food costs allows household budgets to stretch further, freeing up funds for healthcare, education, and basic necessities.

"Bacoor is not just a city being governed—it is the home of my heart. Every family in Bacoor is like my own family," Revilla added. "As long as I have the capacity to serve, I will strive to ensure no one is left behind and no one goes hungry."

City officials noted that the P20 rice initiative remains a core component of Bacoor’s ongoing efforts to protect resident welfare and strengthen local food security.
