  • MALOLOS, Bulacan — Ten individuals were arrested and some ₱317,560 worth of suspected illegal drugs were confiscated in a series of successful anti-drug operations launched by the Bulacan Police Provincial Office this week.

Led by station commanders, law enforcement teams conducted separate buy-bust operations in Bocaue, Hagonoy, Baliwag, and Obando from August 4 to 5, recovering a total of 21 sachets of suspected shabu and marked buy-bust money used during the stings.

One major operation in Barangay Batia, Bocaue yielded the biggest haul: nine sachets valued at ₱197,200, leading to the arrest of one suspect under the supervision of Police Lt. Col. Gilbert C. Diaz, Bocaue Municipal Police Station chief. Nine more suspects were apprehended in follow-up and simultaneous missions across other towns, with additional seized contraband worth ₱120,360.

All detained persons are now under police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

According to Police Col. Jay B. Baybayan, Acting Provincial Director, these operations are part of sustained, aggressive crackdowns to wipe out illegal drug trade and secure safer, peaceful communities for Bulakenyos.
