    Games today:

    (Polomolok Gymnasium)

    4 p.m. — Nxled vs Galeries Tower

    6:30 p.m. — Akari vs Choco Mucho

Nxled is taking every game in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) On Tour Showdown with the same vigor and intensity as a regular season match.

So, when the Chameleons march into battle at the Polomolok Gymnasium to meet Galeries Tower today, they are going all out to snatch a second straight win and entertain the South Cotabato volleyball fans.

“We don’t feel it’s an exhibition,” Italian mentor Ettore Guidetti said as his wards brace for war in the 4 p.m. curtain-raiser.

“The players put pressure on themselves, and we’re trying to win every single game. That’s the truth. For us, the exhibition is about playing at our highest level.”

The Chameleons, despite playing sans injured top hitter Brooke Van Sickle, rebounded from an opening-day loss to Creamline with a dominating sweep of Capital1.

Veterans Myla Pablo and Jonah Sabete-Escamillan led Nxled’s charge in pinning down the Solar Spikers, who played minus national team members Bella Belen, Vanie Gandler and Erika Santos, 25-17, 25-23, 25-18, last week in Vigan City in Ilocos Sur.

The Chameleons will try to take advantage of their morale-boosting win to spoil the Highrisers’ back-to-back attempt.

Galeries Tower started on a high note after bringing down Farm Fresh, 25-17, 24-26, 25-19, 26-24, in a thrilling clash last 11 July in Batangas City.

Unheralded Erika Deloria proved she can own the spotlight if given a chance after dropping 24 points in the Highrisers’ shocker.

Aside from Deloria, Galeries Tower will also rely on veteran playmaker Jules Coronel as well as top rookie pick Lams Lamina, who impressed in her professional debut with seven excellent sets off the bench in the previous outing.

Jean Asis, Aiza Pontillas, Erika Raagas, Roselle Baliton, Lycha Ebon and Jade Gentapa are ready to provide backup for the Highrisers.

Meanwhile, crowd darling Choco Mucho and Akari clash to claim first win in the main game at 6:30 p.m.

The Flying Titans have yet to taste victory after back-to-back losses to ZUS Coffee, 14-25, 20-25, 23-25, in Batangas and PLDT, 21-25, 25-20, 27-29, 18-25, in Vigan.

Choco Mucho has been hampered by the absence of national team standouts Eya Laure, Dawn Macandili-Catindig and Sisi Rondina, while Kat Tolentino continues to recover from surgery.

On the other hand, the Chargers aim to bury their 11-25, 23-25, 28-26, 17-25, setback to the Thunderbelles in their debut outing in Ilagan City, Isabela.
