Each session brings together dialysis patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and community members for discussions on kidney disease prevention, nutrition, medication adherence, vascular access care and lifestyle modifications that can help improve patients' quality of life. Participants are also given the opportunity to consult healthcare professionals and seek guidance on managing their condition.
Beyond health education, the initiative also serves as a support platform where patients and caregivers can exchange experiences and build connections with others facing similar health challenges.
"At NephroPlus, we believe that quality dialysis care extends beyond the treatment provided inside our clinics. Through “Kaagapay sa Kalusugan ng Bato,” we aim to empower patients and their families with the knowledge, confidence, and support they need to actively participate in their healthcare journey and improve their quality of life," said Gowtham Arumugam, country head of NephroPlus Philippines.
