Capiz community development gets huge boost

ROXAS CITY, Capiz -- Former 1Tahanan Party-list Representative Nathaniel Oducado reaffirmed his commitment to community development following a courtesy visit with Capiz Governor Fredenil "Oto" Castro to discuss growth initiatives for the province.
Oducado met with Castro to explore collaborative opportunities focused on economic progress and social services for local residents.
"My meeting with Governor Oto Castro was both productive and encouraging. We exchanged ideas on how we can continue contributing to the progress of Capiz and create more opportunities for our people," Oducado said in a statement.
"Even as a private citizen, I firmly believe that public service does not require an elected position," he added.
During his tenure in the House of Representatives, Oducado advocated for legislative measures centered on housing, consumer protection, livelihood generation, and government transparency.
Oducado said he plans to stay involved in civic and community projects throughout the province, stressing that regional development relies on cooperation between public officials and private citizens.
