Something huge was kept in a drawer of the geology collection of the British Antarctic Survey in Cambridge, England.

Paleontologist Mark Evans found in the drawer a bone that geologist Mike Thomson discovered in 1985 during an expedition to Antarctica’s James Ross Island. Thomson died in 2020.

The bone belonging to a dinosaur was found on the icy continent and Evans took it upon himself to identify it. His research team found that the bone came from the tail of a long-necked, plant-eating titanosaur believed to be about 23 feet long. The findings were published on 29 June in the journal Acta Palaeontologica Polonica, New York Post (NYP) reports.

Meanwhile, workers collecting the portable toilets used during the FIFA World Cup tournament in Kansas City, USA on 14 July were knocking on each portalet door to make sure there was no one inside before they loaded them onto a truck.

The crew of Patriot Portable Restrooms (PPR) found one toilet locked and gave its occupant 10 minutes to exit. When the crew returned, the portalet was still locked so they asked the occupant to open the door.

A man replied that he could not reach the door and couldn’t get out of the toilet, KOMO News reports.

The workers called a passing police officer, who pried the john’s door open. It stunned them that the portalet was completely empty, according to KOMO News.

“All of a sudden a head popped out of the toilet,” a representative of the PPR told KOMO News.

The man apparently got trapped inside the waste holding tank beneath the toilet seat. Kansas City firefighters were called and they cut apart the tank to free him. The firemen then hosed him down to end his bizarre ordeal.

The man told responders he had climbed into the tank to retrieve a Mountain Dew bottle he had dropped there the night before, which meant he had been inside the tank for roughly eight hours.
