The Filinvest Group and Ateneo de Manila University signed a memorandum of agreement at Faber Hall on the university campus, formalizing a new student internship program.
The partnership with Ateneo’s Office of Placement and Career Services will provide students with structured, work-based learning across Filinvest Group’s businesses in real estate, banking, hospitality, power and utilities.
This initiative aims to equip students with practical experience, core competencies, and business understanding, while supporting Filinvest’s talent acquisition efforts through early engagement with high-potential students.
In a video message, Filinvest Land Inc. president and CEO Tristan Las Marias, an Ateneo alumnus, expressed support for the initiative.
“We are investing in the same thing — people, their formation, their future, and their capacity to lead with integrity,” Las Marias said.
Filinvest Group first vice president and head of HR Strategy and Excellence Sheriben Paraguas highlighted the alignment between the university’s educational philosophy and the company’s culture.
“Where these strengths come together, something neither of us could accomplish alone becomes possible: learning enriched by practice, and practice guided by deeper purpose,” Paraguas said.
“Together, we help form not only capable professionals, but whole persons — prepared in mind, grounded in values, and ready to serve,” he added.
