A 34-year-old Chinese national was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly ran amok inside a local restaurant, causing widespread panic and forcing the business to close early.
The incident occurred around 9:41 p.m. at the Pares Hub along Quirino Avenue in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.
According to an initial police investigation, the suspect entered the establishment aggressively, acting violently and shouting loudly while looking for someone to confront.
His actions resulted in damage to several items inside the restaurant, prompting management to immediately halt operations and close early out of safety concerns for staff and patrons.
Tactical police officers conducting routine mobile patrols nearby noticed the commotion and responded to the scene, arresting the suspect and restoring order.
Police identified the arrested individual only by the alias Guo, a resident of Barangay Tambo.
