  • A 34-year-old Chinese national was apprehended late Saturday night after he allegedly ran amok inside a local food establishment in Parañaque City, causing panic and property damage.

The incident transpired around 9:41 p.m. on 11 July 2026 at the Pares Hub along Quirino Avenue, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.

Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect suddenly entered the establishment in an aggressive manner, acting violently and creating a loud disturbance as he angrily looked for someone to confront.

His destructive actions damaged several items inside the store, forcing the management to immediately halt business operations and close early due to safety concerns.

Tactical elements conducting routine mobile patrols nearby noticed the ongoing commotion and immediately responded to the scene to restore order, resulting in the arrest of the suspect.

The arrested individual was identified only by the alias Guo, 34, a Chinese national residing in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.

The suspect has been escorted to the local police station for documentation.

The case has been referred to the Parañaque City Police Station's Investigation and Detective Management Section for further processing, with criminal complaints for Alarms and Scandals (Article 155 of the Revised Penal Code) and Malicious Mischief prepared for formal filing.
