QIAGEN has expanded its presence in the Philippines through a new distribution partnership with Hamburg Trading Corporation and the launch of its first QIAGEN Experience Lab in the country.
The facility serves as a dedicated learning and demonstration hub where researchers, scientists, and laboratory professionals can gain hands-on experience with the company’s molecular testing and laboratory automation technologies.
The Experience Lab features QIAGEN’s latest platforms, including the QIAsprint Connect, QIAcube Connect and QIAcuity Digital PCR System, showcasing the company’s “Sample to Insight” workflow solutions.
The partnership also strengthens QIAGEN’s reach in applied testing, including veterinary, plant, and industrial applications, while supporting academic research and pharmaceutical research and development.
“Beyond serving as a supplier, we are partnering with Hamburg Trading Corp. to transform this facility into a vibrant learning hub that empowers the next generation of Filipino scientists through hands-on seminars and real-world expertise,” said Eric Goh, head of commercial operations for Southeast Asia at QIAGEN.
The Experience Lab allows customers to evaluate instruments and molecular workflows on-site without having to secure internal equipment clearances, making product assessment faster and more accessible.
QIAGEN said the facility will also host technical workshops, training sessions and capability-building programs to support the country’s growing scientific community.
The company said the initiative reflects its long-term commitment to advancing molecular diagnostics, life sciences research, and applied testing in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia.
