The Southern Police District (SPD) intensified its campaign against illegal drugs, resulting in the arrest of 104 drug personalities and the seizure of more than P4.6 million worth of illegal drugs across Southern Metro Manila in a weeklong anti-illegal drug operation from 29 June to 5 July 2026.
A total of 84 anti-illegal drug operations were successfully carried out, leading to the arrest of 97 street-level ondividuals and 7 high-value individuals.
Seized during the operations were approximately 677.06 grams of shabu, 3.5 grams of marijuana, and 1 vape cartridge containing marijuana/cannabis oil. The total standard drug price value of the seized illegal substances amounted to P4,606,928, highlighting the operational gains achieved through intelligence-driven enforcement efforts.
The Southern Police District's drug enforcement unit registered the highest value of seized illegal drugs amounting to P2.72 million, while Taguig City Police Station recorded the highest number of arrests with 35 drug personalities apprehended during the weeklong operations.
