The Southern Police District (SPD) arrested 81 drug suspects and seized nearly P3 million worth of illegal drugs during intensified anti-drug operations conducted from 22 to 28 June.
SPD said its operatives carried out 66 anti-illegal drug operations across six cities and one municipality, resulting in the arrest of 80 street-level individuals and one high-value individual.
Authorities confiscated about 437.58 grams of shabu and 15 grams of marijuana with a combined standard drug price of P2,977,344.
SPD Director P/Brig. Gen. Glenn Oliver Cinco said the operations reflect the district's continuing commitment to combating illegal drugs through proactive law enforcement, intelligence-driven operations, and close coordination with partner agencies and the community.
Cinco said the SPD will sustain its intensified anti-illegal drug campaign and urged the public to continue supporting law enforcement efforts by reporting illegal drug activities.
