GGC Group Asia, formerly known as DDB Group Philippines, has secured a Gold award and two finalist citations at the Campaign Agency of the Year Global Awards in London, reinforcing its position among the country's leading marketing communications groups.
The company’s talent management division, The Culture Hub, won Gold in the Talent Management Team of the Year category, while Group chairman and chief executive officer Gil G. Chua was named a finalist for Agency Leader of the Year. GGC Group Asia was also recognized as a finalist for Best Place to Work.
According to the company, it was the only Philippine agency to receive a Gold award and earn top leadership recognitions in this year's competition.
“This recognition belongs to every member of our team,” Chua said. “Awards are never about a single leader. They are about the people who choose every day to build something bigger than themselves. We have always believed that businesses grow when people grow.”
The awards come as the organization undergoes a major transformation following its rebranding to GGC Group Asia after the retirement of the DDB brand globally.
The company said it recorded its strongest financial performance to date despite industry disruptions, citing revenue growth and higher profit before tax while maintaining a people-centered approach focused on leadership development, succession planning, capability building, and talent stewardship.
The Culture Hub's award-winning entry highlighted the group's philosophy of developing employees into future leaders, entrepreneurs, collaborators and industry partners, a strategy that it said contributed to business growth and leadership continuity.
“At GGC Group Asia, we believe that success is not measured only by profit, but by the lives we help shape, the opportunities we create, and the impact we leave behind,” said Anna Chua-Norbert, group chief culture officer and founder of The Culture Hub.
The company said the recognitions affirm its commitment to workplace culture, leadership development, and long-term growth for employees and clients.
