Megan Young has opened up about how her idea of confidence has transformed through the years, saying it now comes from self-assurance and prioritizing her well-being rather than focusing on outward appearances.
Having spent much of her life in the public eye, the actress and beauty queen reflected on how age and experience have reshaped her perspective.
“Before, confidence was very physical for me. If I looked good, I felt good,” Megan said. “But now, confidence comes from consistently showing up for myself, whether that’s taking care of my intimate health, setting boundaries, making time to rest, or simply feeling comfortable and secure in my own body. Those everyday choices have shaped the confidence I have today.”
Young shared that she has become more intentional about the choices she makes, especially when it comes to her daily routines and overall well-being.
“Now, it’s about trusting my intuition,” she said. “I feel more confident making choices for myself, especially when it comes to my intimate health and daily self-care routine. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve also become more mindful of the products and routines I trust for myself and my family every day.”
She added that consistency has become an important part of her approach to self-care.
“I’ve become more mindful about taking care of myself,” Megan said. “The routines you stay consistent with every day really matter. For me, intimate care is part of that. It’s something reliable that helps me feel comfortable, confident, and ready for whatever the day brings.”
Looking back on her personal journey, Young described the experience as coming full circle.
“It feels full circle,” she shared. “People have seen me grow through different stages of my life. It’s simple, trusted, and something you grow with.”
For Young, confidence is built through everyday decisions, trusting herself, and continuing to grow with each new chapter of life.
