EastWest Banking Corp. has expanded its presence in Southern Luzon with the opening of its newest branch at The Outlets at LIMA Estate in Lipa City, strengthening its reach in one of Batangas' fastest-growing business and lifestyle hubs.

The new EastWest LIMA Store is designed to serve professionals, entrepreneurs, families and employees within and around LIMA Estate, a major industrial and commercial center that continues to drive economic activity in the province.

“At EastWest, we believe banking should move with our clients — closer, easier, and more attuned to the way they live and do business,” said Ivy B. Uy, EastWest executive vice president and head of the Branch Banking Group.

“The LIMA Store reflects our hyperlocalization strategy: making banking easier in high-growth communities like Batangas, where we can support individuals and businesses with financial solutions that fit their everyday needs,” she added.

The branch offers services for deposits, loans and other financial requirements, serving as a hub where customers can access tailored banking solutions and financial guidance.

EastWest said the opening marks its 11th store in Batangas and forms part of the bank's broader expansion strategy in key regional growth areas. The move reinforces its commitment to making banking services more accessible and relevant to local communities.

The branch was formally inaugurated on 22 June with a blessing ceremony attended by bank officials and guests.

EastWest is a Filipino-owned universal bank and a subsidiary of Filinvest Development Corp. The bank continues to expand its footprint nationwide as it seeks to bring relationship-driven banking services closer to emerging economic centers outside Metro Manila.
