The Travel Madness Expo (TE), with the theme "Where Every Journey Tells a Story - From Madness to Memories," returns to the SM Convention Center Manila, highlighting more destinations with a greater purpose through exclusive travel deals and expanded airline and tourism partnerships from 10 to 12 July.
DTI invites Filipinos to book their next trip with great discounts and accommodations, especially at a time when travel is much more expensive than before.
The three-day expo that has been running since 2012 has grown into one of the country’s leading travel trade events, established as the marketplace where Filipinos looking for their next vacation can connect directly with airlines, tourism boards, and accredited travel agencies for exclusive offers and planning assistance.
"When you walk onto the expo floor, you are engaging directly with airlines, tourism boards, and accredited travel partners offering one-of-a-kind and hard-to-resist exclusive packages and curated itineraries," TME Chairperson Paz Alberto said.
The event intends to encourage Filipinos to look beyond unwinding only during the summer and holidays, but to discover destinations all year-round, sustaining travel momentum beyond peak periods to strengthen domestic tourism, and reinforce the country’s position as an all-season destination.
During the event, eligible Metrobank cardholders can also take advantage of the bank's "Book Now, Pay Later" program, allowing them to secure their travel bookings while paying at a later date.
"Many of the bundled travel deals, coordinated group packages, and promotional fares available during the expo are often unavailable through standard online booking platforms,” Alberto added.
Alongside this, Malaysia Airlines joins this year's event as the Official Airline Partner, while Philippine Airlines (PAL) serves as the national airline partner, underscoring the expo's continued focus on strengthening both international connectivity and domestic travel opportunities.
With the Department of Tourism's (DOT) "Discover More to Love" campaign, it will reinforce efforts to promote both established attractions and emerging destinations across the country.
Meanwhile, the Travel Madness Expo 2026 welcomes new participating destinations, including Georgia, Czech Tourism, and Papua New Guinea, alongside returning exhibitors from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Guam, with 179 exhibitors, mirroring the changing priorities of travelers.
"The event brings together both outbound and inbound tourism stakeholders to strengthen industry collaboration while giving Filipino travelers more opportunities to discover destinations through trusted travel partners," Alberto asserted.
By bringing airlines and agencies together, it can make travel planning more accessible while strengthening connections between Filipino travelers and destinations across the Philippines and around the world.
"When Filipinos travel abroad, they become part of a broader cultural exchange. At the same time, we continue to welcome international partners who help strengthen tourism ties and economic activity between destinations," Alberto further explained.
The expo will open at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, 10 July, and continues through Sunday, 12 July, with tickets priced at P100 for the public and P70 for PWDs and senior citizens.
Furthermore, Metrobank cardholders will receive free admission upon presentation of a valid card and ID through a dedicated entry lane, including early access to the Travel Preview Sale from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the 10th.
