Binigyang-diin din ng Pangulo ang kahalagahan ng pagpapatibay ng seguridad at pagtiyak sa kaligtasan ng publiko sa lahat ng lugar, tanggapan, establisyimento, at lalo na sa mga paaralan.
Batay sa ulat, tatlong estudyante ang nasawi matapos pagbabarilin ng mga suspek na may edad 14 at 15 taong gulang.
