Kinumpirma ni National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag nitong Lunes na natukoy na ang mga hacker sa likod ng pag-atake sa mga website ng pamahalaan.
“We have identified the person involved, but we will act accordingly. So habulin namin ‘yan. We have to make them answer kung ano ‘yung ginawa nila because this will be illegal,” aniya.
“May identification kami na magkakaiba, but we have identified all of them already,” dagdag pa niya.
Kabilang sa mga naapektuhan ay ang opisyal na website ng Senado at ng Kamara sa magkakahiwalay na okasyon nitong weekend.
Samantala, nilinaw naman ni Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) Executive Director Renato Paraiso na walang sensitibong impormasyon ang nanakaw mula sa mga naturang website.
“Kung may nakuhang sensitive data, wala ho. Kasi ang talagang dineface po is ‘yung websites. You have to understand nakahiwalay ho ‘yung sistema ng mga pamahalaan, lalong-lalo na ‘yung NBI, doon sa mga front-facing na websites nila,” ani Paraiso.
