Mahigit 3,000 aftershocks na ang naitala sa Mindanao matapos ang malakas na lindol na tumama sa bahagi ng Maasim, Sarangani noong Lunes.

Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), ang pinakamalakas na naitalang aftershock ay umabot sa magnitude 6.4. Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga aftershocks, 790 ang natukoy ang eksaktong lokasyon habang 61 naman ang aktuwal na naramdaman ng mga residente.

Nauna nang ipinaliwanag ng PHIVOLCS na maaaring magpatuloy ang pagyanig dulot ng mga aftershock sa loob ng hanggang isang buwan matapos ang pangunahing lindol.
