Pormal nang binuksan ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang kanilang mga shower facility para sa mga siklista.
Matatagpuan ang “bike-to-work end-of-trip facilities” sa Motorcycle Riding Academy sa Pasig City.
Pinangunahan ni MMDA Chairman Atty. Don Artes, kasama si MMDA Traffic Chief Nicolas Torre III, ang pagpapasinaya ng pasilidad na naglalayong isulong ang active transport at sustainable mobility sa Metro Manila.
May apat na shower room ang pasilidad: isa para sa kalalakihan, isa para sa kababaihan, at dalawa para sa all-gender use.
Bukas ang mga shower room nang 24 oras. Kinakailangan lamang magparehistro sa mga nakatalagang bantay bago ito magamit.
Bukod sa shower rooms, mayroon ding espasyo para sa pagpapalit ng damit bilang karagdagang suporta sa mga nagbibisikleta papasok sa trabaho.
