Looks like Kathryn Bernardo and Lucena Mayor Mark Alcala had a grand celebration last Valentine’s Day.

One netizen claimed: “Kath spent her VD somewhere private and intimate in South  w/ her fam and mayor, along w/ his family too. A farm-like filled with arranged flowers she loves. There were four cars, one for Kath and Mark, one for the Bernardos, one for his fam,  and one for their security.”

Should this be true, this is the first time that Kathryn’s family met the Alcalas of Lucena.  This, too, is an indication that the couple have the blessings of both camps.

A picture would have completed a beautiful scenario with the Alcalas and the Bernardos in one frame.

So, what’s next?

The rudeness of you

When I was told by the moderator that he lined me up as one of those who will participate in the question and answer portion of The Alibi media huddle, I was scrambling to  think of what question to ask.

My co-Daily Tribune columnist, Alwyn Ignacio, suggested that I ask the real score between Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino.

Initially,  I asked Chiu and Avelino if they realized that the strength of their characters in the series emanates from their refusal to be what other people want  them to be.

After that, I finally asked what Ignacio wanted me to inquire about, the real score of their relationship.

I was surprised when Avelino said: “100.”

Thinking it was an admission, I said:  “Thank you, Paulo. I thought Jericho (Rosales) was the only guy I knew who was brave enough to admit things. You are the second one.”

Avelino backpedaled and said: “I didn’t  admit anything. I just gave a score.”

So, where was I rude there?  I just likened Avelino to Rosales who admitted, bravely at that, during the mediacon for Lavender Fields,  that he and Janine Gutierrez were dating.

At one point during the huddle, Sam Milby was apologizing to Kim Chiu for unwittingly hurting her in one scene.

Avelino interjected and took a clear swipe at Milby and said: “So, kailangang nakakasakit nang hindi mo sinsadya (So, you need to hurt somebody but not deliberately)?”

So, the KimPau fans didn’t find Avelino’s aria rude?

How funny!!!
