Grand and culturally rich, the exhibit takes center stage at the mall’s Amphitheater as the heart of SM City Santa Rosa’s Chinese New Year 2026 celebration, delivering a maxed-out cultural and visual experience for mallgoers. Inspired by the Year of the Horse, the installation symbolizes strength, resilience, progress and abundance — reflecting the optimism and forward momentum of the year ahead. Adding to the celebration was an art workshop participated in by Lion City Youth Inc. further enriching the exhibit’s educational and cultural value.
The centerpiece features two commanding, lifelike horse statues, surrounded by a striking arrangement of 15 paintings,140 umbrellas, 100 scrolls, 48 decorative plates, and 100 lanterns. Together, these elements transform the mall into a dynamic visual landscape — inviting mallgoers to pause, explore, capture moments, and celebrate the season in a truly festive and share-worthy setting. The art exhibit runs from February 1 to March 1.
