To dry one’s hair after a bath, use a towel. But a girl in China prefers to do it another way.
After a bath, the girl’s father noticed what looked like dandruff in her hair, so he asked if she had used tissues to dry her hair despite his warnings not to do so, the South China Morning Post reported.
When his daughter denied using tissues, it enraged her father, who smashed a hairdryer. She locked herself in her room in fear, and her angry dad tried to open the door. Failing to do so, he slammed a plastic chair into the door and kicked it.
The father’s unexplainable outburst on 26 January was captured on a camera phone by his wife, who posted it on social media. The video went viral with 110 million views but was later deleted by the wife, according to a report by Beijing TV.
Meanwhile, an American heavyweight boxer literally had a hair-raising experience in the ring.
In the post-fight interview, Jarrell Miller — who defeated Kingsley Ibeh in an undercard at Madison Square Garden on 31 January — recalled seeing a shampoo bottle at his mom’s house and using it two days before the fight, Sky News reports. Only it wasn’t shampoo but bleach, and it burned off all his hair.
“So I called my manager (and said), ‘get me one of those manes,’ and I slapped that on real quick. I’m a comedian, I make fun of myself,” Miller told Sky News.
He got the toupee all right, but it came loose when he was taking a flurry of punches from Ibeh.
The 37-year-old Miller braved the embarrassing round, then threw the dislodged wig into the crowd, with a smile.
