The University of the Philippines’ Upsilon Sigma Phi Fraternity and Sigma Delta Phi Sorority batch 1976 marked their 50th anniversary with a dental and medical mission in partnership with the SM Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the SM Group, at the SM City Fairview shopping mall on 4 February.
The outreach project was facilitated by Sis Connie Angeles and Sis Liza Sichon.
Batch members gave free medical consultations to 1,013 individuals and dental consultations/extractions to 120 patients.
The mission also conducted 85 X-rays, 105 ECGs, 161 sugar tests, 149 cholesterol tests, 135 uric acid tests, 27 hemoglobin tests and 74 bone scans.
