The country’s leading logistics and remittance provider, LBC Express, was hailed by the Bureau of Customs–Manila International Container Port (BOC-MICP) as one of its Top Deconsolidators for 2025, the firm’s ninth consecutive year receiving the distinction.

LBC Express, Inc., received the distinction during the BOC-MICP awarding ceremony held on 26 January at the MICP Multipurpose Hall.

LBC Express’ Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, Rene Fuentes, said the recognition underscores LBC’s unwavering commitment to efficiency, compliance, and service excellence.

The event honored top importers, customs brokers, deconsolidators, exporters, and shipping lines for their contributions to revenue collection and trade facilitation.

The awarding rites were led by MICP District Collector Atty. Felipe Geoffrey De Vera IV, together with Deputy Collectors Gerardo Macatangay, Arvin Bundukin, and Atty. Edward Ibera, and attended by division heads and key personnel.

LBC Express was named among the Top 10 Deconsolidators, alongside industry peers such as Total Line Logistics Inc. and Oceanlight Cargo Forwarding.

The commendation highlights LBC’s consistent excellence in handling consolidated cargo, strict adherence to customs regulations, and vital role in advancing the government’s trade facilitation initiatives.

Deconsolidators play a critical role in breaking down consolidated shipments into individual consignments, ensuring efficient processing and timely delivery.

LBC’s Fuentes said the recognition reinforces LBC’s reputation for reliability and integrity in international freight forwarding, as well as its ability to meet the evolving needs of businesses and overseas Filipinos.

“We are deeply honored to be recognized by the Bureau of Customs–ManilaInternational Container Port as one of its Top Deconsolidators for 2025. This distinction—our ninth consecutive year receiving this recognition—is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, who continuously strive to uphold the highest standards in logistics and trade compliance. We remain committed to further improving our services in the years ahead,” he said in his acceptance speech.

Further, he said the honor reflects LBC Express’s pivotal role in supporting efficient port operations and advancing the Philippines’ trade and economic growth.
