Hann Philippines Inc. is set to introduce a new leisure destination with the upcoming opening of Hann Reserve, a nature-centric estate in New Clark City, slated to open in March.
Agnes Liwanag, vice president for real estate and property development of Hann Philippines Inc., said during a press briefing recently that preparations are underway for the development of the 450-hectare property, which is currently in its first phase.
The project will feature a championship golf course integrated with wellness amenities, education facilities and residential communities, forming what the company describes as a single, interconnected ecosystem.
Hann Reserve is the latest addition to the Hann Resorts portfolio, which includes Hann Casino Resort, the 11-hectare property regarded as the first fully integrated resort in Central Luzon.
The Hann Casino Resort complex also houses five-star international hotel brands such as Marriott, Swissotel and homegrown brand Widus.
Hann Reserve general manager Tim Neil emphasized that the March opening symbolizes the beginning of a long-term journey for their new project, with future phases carefully sequenced to ensure quality, continuity and global relevance.
Great games, great outdoors
The eco-sanctuary estate will feature three championship golf courses designed by Nicklaus Design, K.J. Choi and Nick Faldo. These will complement the PGA Performance Center and PGA Village, developed in partnership with the PGA of America, positioning Hann Reserve as a hub for elite training, coaching and education.
“Something we always talk about internally is that we’re not here to replicate. We’re here to reinvent,” Neil said.
“We’re trying to create quality golf at the highest level, with something for multiple groups of consumers, whether that’s for wellness, the PGA village, or three courses of a standard that isn’t currently available, not just in the Philippines but also in Southeast Asia,” he added.
Neil also mentioned that the company will support grassroots programs through golf education and athlete development as part of efforts to help elevate the country’s golf landscape.
Beyond sports, Neil also zoomed in on the vision for Hann Reserve as a place where residents, members and visitors can engage with nature, pursue wellness and participate in a thoughtfully curated lifestyle environment.
Also an addition to their “Play bold, live bold” mantra is the 1.2 hectare expansion of the Hann Casino Resorts, that adds 584 slot machines and 34 table games, aimed at elevated guest experience with an improved eco-centric scenery.
The expansion features layered rock forms, flowing pathways, textured stone finishes, warm earth tones and ambient lighting that mimics natural light filtering through canyon apertures for an immersive and open gaming space, far from the often enclosed gaming experiences.
Present in the 1.2 hectare expansion of their venture are new food and beverage concepts such as Three Woks, for all-day and late-night East Asian dining experience inspired by Chinese, Japanese and Korean cuisines; while The Pearl offers a more intimate fine-dining setting featuring curated Asian specialties.
Social responsibility still on top
Liwanag highlighted the role of the Hann Foundation in sustaining social responsibility initiatives in Tarlac and Pampanga, where the company operates.
“Building on what we have achieved in Clark, Hann Reserve represents the next phase of our growth — one that is grounded in sustainability, long-term planning and a deep understanding of [the] place,” Liwanag said.
She added that Hann Philippines Inc. continues to support communities through education, livelihood and employment programs, the construction of health centers, environmental protection initiatives and the preservation of local culture.
